Grayson Co. Black Family Project

We would like to extend a special invitation to anyone interested in the
history of black families in Grayson to join us Thursday, August 31, beginning at
7:00PM to discuss a project we have just started on local black family
history. We have compiled a set of family group sheets based on census,
marriage, birth, and death records for all black families we could
identify as being in Grayson between 1870 and 1930. We would like to
share that information with local residents and welcome you to share
your information with us.
